Anime Review: Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April)

Here is an anime I recently watched and I'm REALLY excited in sharing this >u<

Plot Summary: Kōsei Arima was a piano prodigy until his mother died when he was eleven years old. The shock of losing her made him lose any interest in piano, and his life has felt monotonous ever since. Then, when he's fourteen, his childhood friend Tsubaki introduces him to her classmate Kaori, a free-spirited violinist. Her enthusiasm reignites his interest in music and in life. (Source: ANN)

If you love classical music, you might like this series. I was all tensed watching this because of the strong competition between musicians, and of course, I want my favourite character, Arima Kousei to win though the chance is very less :(

This anime displays a lot of classical pieces from Beethoven and Chopin. The violinist, Kaori, is really cool too!!

The most exciting about this anime is the....SEIYUU!! I am really interested in voice acting, and thus led me to the research of the famous voice actors around. And know what? The seiyuu of Arima Kousei is no other than NATSUKI HANAE-SAN, the same seiyuu of Kaneki Ken (Tokyo Ghoul) and Kaizuka Inaho (Aldnoah Zero)!!!! The thing is, though the voices sound nostalgic, I didn't notice at all -,- *da power of seiyuu*

THE OPENING SONG OF THIS ANIME IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It is Hikaru Nara by Goose House. DO search for them in youtube and listen!!!! Its really good >u<
