Anime Review: Kuroko no Basuke

As the title depicts, this series has sports as its theme. It is really famous and has a relatively huge fandom. It is one of the best anime I have ever watched, though sport-themed animes are not  my thing. By BEST, I am saying that it is REALLY good :> ehehe~

Plot Summary: Tetsuya Kuroko is a former member from the legendary middle school basketball team known as "The Generation of Miracles". Upon meeting Taiga Kagami he decides upon becoming his shadow to help him become Japan's greatest basketball player. (Source: ANN)

So, about this anime... It has 3 seasons, with the first 2 seasons finished airing, and the 3rd season upcoming next January 2015 :D *can't wait*

This series offers interesting plot in a way; but on the other hand, to be honest, has a rather dull ending. The ending is super expected. Actually the plot is simple (saving the GOM by beating them), but the good thing is, as much simple the concept is, the author managed to make the story super amazing!! It is like, the plot matters more than the outcome (since the outcome is rather obvious). People usually tend to skip when they already know what is going to happen next. However, this series doesn't work that way XD The competitions are so intense that you might actually find yourself hitting your sofa and rooting after the characters lol cos that's what I did. Its nerve-wracking seeing the battle between 2 equally strong teams!!

The colours are sort of dull but the opening was good. The art is much better than the manga (of course). The 2nd season of this series has smoother animation than its prequel. It also shows more character development. For example, for once in a lifetime, we can see Murasakibara Atsushi (my fav character!!!! <3) being serious about basketball. He even cried when he lost to Seirin TnT sho shad.. The 2nd season also shows about Kagami's frail side :3 In the beginning he looks arrogant and think that he is the strongest. But soon we come to know that he is afraid of dogs! ~~

As much unrealistic the abilities of the GOMs are, KNB draws out the feeling of wanting to play basketball from its watcher >u< I remember the time when I finished watching the 1st season, I was stuck with basketball for the whole month mwahhaha XD

The author made the GOM very very very arrogant that they annoy me sometimes. As much as I love Murasakibara, I was really fed up with his arrogance... For the sake of the plot, this just had to be done TuT

MURASAKIBARA ATSUSHI <3
Top 5 favourite character:
1. Murasakibara Atsushi
2. Aomine Daiki
3. Kuroko Tetsuya
4. Seijuurou Akashi
5. Shun Izuki (He is funny in a way)

Overall it is - I repeat - very good. Those who have not watched this, you seem not to have lived your life fully yet xD

LOOK FORWARD SEEING MURASAKIBARA IN SEASON 2 OKAY !!~~~
